Ajman Free Zone Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Ajman Police General Directorate
Director of Ajman Police, and on behalf of Ajman Free Zone Authority by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Sultan Al-Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman Ports and Customs Department and Ajman Free Zone Authority. From his side, HE Sheikh Sultan bin Abdulla Al-Nuaimi, Deputy Director of Ajman Police, confirmed that out of the care to achieve the strategic vision of Ajman Police General Directorate in consolidating strategic partnership relations, the management is moving forward in supporting the continuous communication with the different establishments in different fields and within its commitment for the continuous cooperation and common work with Ajman Free Zone Authority. He pointed out that this cooperation reflects the importance of preparing a common agreement between the two parties as a means of advancing and developing this relationship for serving all sectors of the society and that it also reflects positively on the security process in the emirate in achieving the strategy of the government of Ajman and the ministry of internal affairs. HE the colonel clarified that the objective of this agreement is to define the frameworks and partnership relationships that fulfill the visions of both parties and satisfy their clients, and to advance the common work in order to improve operations and simplify procedures and develop the services provided to the end users. HE said, “we have been careful in the agreement to support the channels of communications between the two sides in order to fulfill their common interests and consolidate the means of exchanging information and training experiences and experiments of specialized establishment that are related to both parties and their field of work”. He also said that, “form our side we will be careful to coordinate directly with Ajman Free Zone Authority in activating the basis of mutual cooperation as an integral part of strategic work of the government in fulfilling its vision and future aspirations. From his side, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Sultan Al-Nuaim clarified that this agreement promotes the opportunities of cooperation between government departments and leads to expanding the area of strategic partnerships that are consistent with objectives of the strategic plan of Ajman Free Zone Authority. He pointed out that the synergy of efforts among the different establishments and their impact on the business community and the different services in the economy of the country in general and Ajman emirate in particular became one of the bases that leadership relies on in achieving its vision and objectives, where it became clear that social and strategic partnerships actually contribute to the process of sustained development of the society specially in Ajman emirate. He confirmed that the desire of both parties has been directed through this agreement towards putting cooperative institutional measures for the exchange of experiences and common services and interests which would be in the general benefit to everyone. Al-Nueimi said that Ajman Free Zone is proceeding with executing such agreements that are aimed at advancing the work and reinforcing the basis of strategic partnership relations which promote the process of advancement and progress in the country in general and the Emirate of Ajman in particular. He confirmed that the Free Zone does not save any efforts in developing the systems and standards which achieve the objectives and work to provide wider opportunities to the investors and clients in the zone, in addition to the advancement of the common work strategy that supports the institutional work in the emirate of Ajman in a way that accompanies the most modern international policies and technologies. Al-Nuaimi added that the agreement emphasizes in its different articles the necessity of encouraging cooperation in the areas of common interest, and exchanging information about conferences and seminars and scientific research, and the provision of the opportunity for exchanging scientific and technical experiences in the common areas of interest. The agreement also emphasizes the support and development of the human resources for both parties through training programs and plans that are prepared by both parties, and forming common committees in the cooperation areas that require this, and cooperation in improving operations and simplifying the procedures between the two parties, and organizing common activities. He pointed out that the main factor for developing the services is represented in developing strong partnerships with governmental specialized service establishments and departments similar to the of Ajman Police General Directorate. He added that this step is consistent with the objectives of the Free Zone aimed at encouraging cooperation with the official service entities in the emirate in order to develop the employment capabilities that promote the creation of integrated and distinguished services that reflect positively on both establishments and individuals dealing with them. He clarified that the agreement and partnership include a number of professional articles which were designed in a way to assist in increasing the tempo of effective common work and contributes in the expansion of cooperation horizons and opening wider channels with the advanced systems in the United Arab Emirates which provide opportunities to benefit from the work methods and creativity of both parties of the agreement. This came during the ceremony for signing the agreement which was held in the Free Zone between HE colonel Sheikh Sultan bin Abdulla Al-Nueimi Deputy Director of Ajman Police and HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Sultan Al-Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman Ports and Customs Department and Ajman Free Zone Authority. Both parties complimented the signature of this partnership agreement which comes within the policy of the emirate of building strategic partnerships with the effective and successful economic sectors in order to raise the level of general performance and work on its support and development. They confirmed that the signature was a documentation of the good relations between the Free Zone and Ajman Police General Directorate expressing their confidence that cooperation will make it possible to affect radical development in the area of promoting services which give the clients of both parties additional comfort and convenience. They also confirmed that this agreement will also open the opportunity for mutual promotion in addition to the possibility of promotion through the different means of communication including the web sites of both parties.
